The standard PCI DSS is a standard written jointly by the blue card/Visa and EuroCard/MasterCard networks. It includes recommendations to ensure the security of confidential information held by companies, such as credit card numbers. Audited, the Crédit Mutuel group CIC has obtained the label for its 2007 internet payment solution.
Since October 2008, a new standard of security is operational in France. It aims to authenticate the bearer of a bank card when paying by internet. "This standard is available under the name of"Verified by "Visa" for Visa and "MasterCard SecureCode"for MasterCard.
Its principle is based on verification of information known only by the holder of the credit card (like the 4-digit code) and which will be requested by the Bank during transactions on the Web.
Our solution is already ready for this new standard.
